Surgery on Monday!!!!!
FarmerKaren-"Save a horse, ride a cowboy!" Started conversation Oct 21, 2005
I am starting to get very scared about my surgery on Monday
I would like everything to be over already, and starting on the road to recovery.
I've got to tell you about having a personal ad put on the msn personals site by my ex-boss/landlord when I moved
I found a personal profile on msn that I didn't even know existed. I found out by someone replying to it.
Anyway, I figured it was Steve that did it (real name intended), and chatted this guy up for a couple of weeks to see if it really was him that was responsible. The name given seemed very familiar to me, like I had heard it somewhere before.
When I asked this guy what he did for a living, he said he worked in an office. Just a tiny statement, nothing more detailed. (Maybe tiny says it all, I don't know.) Anyway, a little time went by and I asked him what he did in the office, like whether he took out the garbage, or if he was a CEO, or summat. He than said he was a Union Rep. So, I left it alone for a while again, and then asked him this past sunday if he, by any chance, was a Union Rep for Canada Post.
Now, by this time, this 'gentleman' had written every day. I can't reply to anything on hotmail from home, so I had given him my yahoo address, just so I could continue to dig for information, as my instinctual radar was flashing neon green. BUT, since asking that question on sunday, I haven't heard a word from Mr. Personal Ad
Do you think I have it right, and this is actually Steve pretending to be someone else? (Steve is also away in British Columbia on a holiday, playing golf and skiing, in one of the more expensive resorts there until tomorrow or Sunday) Or, could it be a real rep for Canada Post trying to get info about the grievance I filed for unpaid wages for work done?
Since this has happened, I have decided to file with the Federal Human Rights Comission against this piece of work I used to call boss. If he is so underhanded as to put a personal ad on the internet in my name (My kids said it sounded like things I would say, and that if they didn't know better, they would have thought it was me), what else could he potentially do?
Has anyone still got the bunny pictures of me? If you do, could you please e-mail them to me on my yahoo? I lost most of my pictures and personal papers on that farm, because the landlord wouldn't fix the rodent problem
Well, I guess I should go for now. I should spend some time with my , I suppose.
Where is Roadkill, clzoomer, and other wonderful people? Are they still around?

zendevil Posted Oct 22, 2005
Roadkill lived here in France in my grotty attic for about 6 months & is a truly young man!
He is now back in UK just starting University Philosophy course.
I would be very dubious about giving personal details on MSN if i wasn't pretty damn certain you know who you are talking to. Please be careful Karen, you have been a victim before, don't be one again. It's really not easy i know, have just had a nasty experience myself.
Trust that inbuilt radar! If in doubt, find a way to get them out of your life.
Email me if you want to talk more personal stuff.
with the surgery. Know how you feel. Will it be general anaesthetic or local?
I have little doubt i will be undergoing similar for the Bloody Knee soon

Thanks, Terri
I don't give out personal information on MSN to that guy, or any other. I left my profile there to not alarm this 'interested party', so I wouldn't tip him off about me being suspicious about him being that Slimy B*st*rd Landlord/Boss thingy.
He has replied to the posting on MSN about meeting for coffee. He said he would. I will post back a reply to that and say to meet me somewhere public, and not show up. I just know it's 'SBL'(see above).
Hi, Ellen(whatever your name is at the moment) I forgot to remember. I am grateful for the support.
Today I am feeling more apprehensive than before. It is going to be a difficult surgery, and a serious one. I have had such anxiety about everything lately, (including this violence from Steve[SBL]) the has warned me about getting enough rest and being prepared physically and emotionally so I don't have major complications That's what happened the last time, you know. I went to w*rk two days after my last surgery, and being on major painkillers, I fell at w*rk, opening up the incision, and let in a big infection which, in turn, caused the bones to not heal together, subsequently crumbling from the repair that didn't take. To add insult to injury, I never got paid for that day of w*rk, which is one of the reasons I have filed the grievance against SBL, and will file the complaint with the Human Rights as soon as an agent gets back to me.
I wish everyone I know on hootoo could be here. I could really use a right now.

It's almost 1am sunday, October 23, 2005.
I should be , but I'm wide awake
Surgery is in 31 hours or so
It will be good to have it over with, because then I'll at least be able to for a while...
I keep having thoughts of things like:
1. There are so many things in my life that I should have done better.
2. I hope my kids really know how much I love them.
3. Have I told my Mum how much I love her lately?
4. I wish I had a 'significant other' to be with at this moment in time.
5. Really great 'whoopie' would do well to distract me from my worries for a while.
6. Man, if I could do things over again, I sure would, only smarter.
7. There is so much to do tomorrow before I go to the hospital
8. I wish I would win the lottery.
9. I need to lose at least 40 pounds to get back into some resemblance of health and attractiveness
10.Who do I think I'm fooling with these ideas of 'normalcy' I'm nowhere 'normal' by any standards.
Oh, shucks
Maybe I'll just try to go to
Maybe it will work sometime soon.....

I'm really flippin' scared now
In just over 13 hours I will be deleriously indecent, and under the scalpel of a talented orthopedic surgeon
By this time tomorrow, I'll hopefully be complaining to every and in sight, and making a royal pain in the @rse of myself
I sure wish I had a real computer. It would make everything so much easier to type when I'm abed
Um....I mean....I won't be a BED, but I will be abed, as in IN BED
I guess I had better eat my final meal. (Gosh that sounds ominous) I mean last meal before surgery
The boys will be staying with their Dad for the week, so I have that to enjoy They can go about making HIM
HELP ME!!!!!!!!
I'm now.
Not good.

zendevil Posted Oct 25, 2005
Great that you kept us informed Tabitha! And great that she has actually had the op & is together enough to bully you into coming on here to say she is Ok.
Puking isn't pleasant, but what the hell, it's one set of sheets she doesn't have to wash.
Wish her all the best from the zendevil & tell her to TAKE IT EASY when she comes out!!!

Puking stopped
I'm baaaaacccckkk!
Now I'm just on heavy narcotics, which make me very itchy
Surgery went
is pleased, and most of the staff were really nice. Even a girl I went through grades 9 to 12 with She was the first I saw coming out of anaesthetic She when I started puking, 'cause she couldn't handle it, but was very good about everything afterward. I've known her since 1975
She couldn't believe I have seven kids and two grandsons
I'm quickly falling asleep, so I had better go.
My foot is killing me

By Christmastime I should be a whole lot better
In two weeks I go to my family to get stitches removed, then on December 13 I go see the surgeon for a check-up.
I just looked in the full-length mirror at my sorry excuse for a body, and saw that I have about 35 bruises! No joke. No wonder I hurt so much.... And they are absolutely everywhere!!!!!
Maybe I fell off the operating table
