Ah, yes, I like this 'Pussycat'-song also. It's from a movie with Barbra Streisand, no?
I like her voice, BTW, so lets make the song of the day this one: 'You don't bring me flowers'.
She sings with a guy, and once again I don't know his name...

Excuse me for joining up this (even though it wasn't supposed to be - rather) private conversation, but as just appointed Muse of Listening to Old LP-records I should be happy to help you in any question regarding these black 12"-things (...what the... CD's goes too...)
My recommandations at the moment would be listening to the Sade album "Promise" (Epic 86318), side 1 #1: Is It A Crime.
my love is wider than victoria lake
*taller* than the empire state
it dives and it jumps
i can't give you more than that, surely you want me back
is it a crime...
Song of the day: Wedding march. (Guess where I'm going)

Welcome Ottox, nice that you're around. Looks like you're a real expert - thanks for the Sade information.
So, if we're in the wedding theme today, I've got three tracks to choose:
White Wedding (Billy Idol)
I will (the Beatles / white album)
too young to be married ( the hollies )
hmm, which one to choose...ah, I forgot one
DON'T MARRY HER - F**K ME (the beautiful south )
excuse my language, but I definitely go for this track
I used to sing it with Helen, a gourgeous friend of mine during my time in Cornwall

Hihihi - this is a funny title (I never heard of this song, though)
Today is my country day. So, how about good old Dolly Parton and 'Jolene'?
BTW: visit my new pub in the Village de la Vavoom. The name is Crossed Purposes, go to http://h2g2.com/A429310

don't know this 'Jolene' song, but talking 'bout country songs,
what about 'Ring of fire', I prefer the Eric Burdon version

Nooo, the one and only Johnny Cash!!! When I hear his voice, a shriver runs down my body! Uuuuh!
Ringo, you should catch you this 'Jolene' song - it's really good.
Country mood ---> western mood. What about Lee Marvin's 'Wandrin' star'?

I'm listening to my Johnny Cash Greatest Hits LP at the moment. Don't think I've ever done before Thanks for inspiring.
Beautiful South was banned by BBC but did a radio edit called "Don't marry her *have* me". Isn't that to sell out?

Just a little imagine what would have happened had Frankie Goes to Hollywood changed the lyrics of Relax to appease Mike Read.

Hi DD, great that you came around
Down here in germany, they played the original version of 'Don't marry her' all day long - most of the people don't understand anyway
Maybe you can help me. I'm searching for a song that starts with "you got it all..." ( think so) and they played in in the "Full Monty" movie in the scene thay played football in the park. Any idea
Prefab Sprout - think I have to dig out the 'king of Rock'n Roll'; my song for today
