Muddy Wallis - Bluesgirl
Born briefly in a small New South Wales town, I was whisked by my parents to Western Australia at the tender age of two months, at which time I had difficulty expressing what I thought about the idea. This is why I sing the blues, badly, at whoever will listen - my voice gravelly from too many New Years Eve cigars and from trying to sound like John Lee Hooker. Sadly the result is often seen the next morning when, unable to speak, I instead look like John Lee Hooker. My friends can stop me from singing the blues (usually tunes about lawnmowing franchises) by handing me a copy of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, a book I discovered after having heard the radio series a very very long time ago. Ever since I first heard (then read) it I wanted to go and drink Ol' Janx Spirit with Ford Prefect at some flying party held in a building high above a distant planet. Never able to work out what Arthur Dent was complaining about, I thought that being stuck in the hold of a Vogon spaceship sounded like heaven on a stick. I studied astrophysics but have never yet met a two headed man at a party. I was always somewhat disappointed that I was unlikely to visit the more fashionable parts of the galaxy, so I visited Africa instead. While this probably was not really comparable to the more fashionable parts of the galaxy, at times it was fairly similar to being stuck in the hold of a Vogon spaceship.Latest Messages
