Beware of Savage Scag Barons

To those influenced enough by random events to have ended up at my home page.

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your stay here. As well as a researcher for the guide, I am a full time, paid up slack bashing reverend of the Church of the SubGenius 1.

I am also involved with RaeGunne Inc, and other random parts of the digital underground. I spend my time at the ever interesting Sussex University, in the department known simply as cogs. This means that I am technically a Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence student, though the facts would seem to move against this idea. I can be found far too much of the time on IRC, on EFNet, in #plinth or #darkcyde. Do not take this as an invitation to bother me, as I am an almost terminally busy person, and a renound liar.

RaeGunne Inc

RaeGunne Inc, or the RaeGunne to its friends is a reasonably long running project involving a fluctuating number of people and machines. So far this project has produced precisely nothing2 and it is not entirely sure whther it is expected to produce something, will ever produce something, or what, in fact, the point is.

2In reality even this is inaccurate, there are trails of RaeGunne detrius all over the place, and even the odd hint of content at the website.

Not About Me

This sections is mainly here because I wanted to use a few of the features of guideML. It is interesting but doesn't seem to use BR tags properly, which is a bit of an annoyance.

UPDATE: OK, ok, this is my mistake, they shoudl be used BR/, fair enough, now I understand, and shall now pay my penance by overusing them massively.

Incidentally I have what is known as a DVD fetish so if anyone felt like sending me some, especially odd obscure ones, I would be most grateful. However, I do not really expect this to happen.

Now if only I had a picture you could really experience the full glory of this page, and a lush graphic3.

I am sure that everyone who has done one of these pages has experienced the feeling that there just isn't enough cool stuff they can write about themselves to give the page some feeling of depth. They end up either a) Telling people things that just aren't that cool or b) Flapping about telling people how hard it is to write cool pages. Remember people, it's all about looking good, so style over content every time.

Either way, I hope you enjoy whatever I put up here, and do consider, how can you tell if I am being minimalist, or just lazy 4? Generally, just assume lazy5. Unless of course it looks like I've spent months designing the aesthetic of the page, in which case, don't.

The graphic in question was actually fairly grainy and washed out, lacking a little in lushness, you migh say, but I felt justified in a little hype :)4This is a paraphrase from the great MED.
