The Transit, essentially and aerodynamically a hollow Lego brick on wheels, has sailed gracefully around the British Isles for about 30 years now, usually carrying furniture.
By far the most interesting thing that has happened to the Transit is it's use by Q magazine in describing a scud missile: "it is about as powerful and accurate as launching a transit van at the enemy".
