hello she, i'm Jenny and this is Fred. I heard you had doghnuts and wondered if you wanted some milk to go with that

it's been a while since i had the martinis, so some milk would be very refreshing thankyou. think i overdid it with the doughnuts. they just all seemed so tempting {stomach rumbles threateningly}

does anyone here know about the fun run, and can they explain it to me in simple terms? if not, can they explain something else to me.

From what I understand the fun run is where you and a number of other researchers enter an article and the group of you critiqye it to get it ready for submission. I haven't bothered with it myself, I just let my friends know about my articles and they tend to come on over and do the critiquing anyway, or somethimes they get therew before I tell them.

okay, i don't really. in fact, the only thing i've understood around here so far is the doughnuts. and that was a bit touch and go when it came to all the varieties.

which is your favourite?

There are basically three things you can do around here. Write your Journal. Post to forums related to other articles, this includes buying donuts, beer, coffee, the adiction clinic and other services to h2g2ressearchers or you can write about something you know nad expand the guide. On your homepage there are four sections three of which you have an add to button on. If you want to see a homepage with all four with something in check mine by clicking on my name above.

The Fun Run is a Fun way to gat an article up to the standard which the sub-editors will like, as I said I have never entered one so I' not too hot on the detail. Go back there and ask one of the guys involved in Fun Run 1 or 2 for more details if you like.

if you wount a few ideas for homepages goto the WHO'S ON LINE KNOW link and click on any name you like the sound of you will get there homepage. it's a good way of looking round.
