It can be quite pleasant to know that your page is visited - but sadly I tend to visit someone's page once, leave a conversation, and very rarely visit that person's page again to see what's new. I've visited yours a few times, though...

Yes, it has a habit of doing that - I really should see a Dr about it, but I can't be bothered, most of the time, to go to one and see him. smiley - sadface

(Good job my signature isn't every initial of my name, otherwise

Yeah. You keep saying that. Maybe one day you will... (maybe)
Yes, it would. smiley - winkeye Maybe I should sign ¦Ming¦ instead of ¦M¦ !? But ¦M¦ is quicker to type.

Hmm... so, now we're talked about the joys of signatures, what shall we talk about now?
Okay then, more hobbies... What we do, what we like etc. That's often good, don't you think?

Well, it does keep a conversation going...
I play the Flute.
I do my best to get out of doing homework.
I read books.
I h2g2.
I smiley - fish.
I go hyper.
I eat sugar. (in many different foods)
I go even more hyper...

You're right, it does keep the conversation going. smiley - smiley
I started to learn to play the flute once, got as far as being able to play "Three Blind Mice", and got bored and gave up.
I'm currently doing very well at not doing anything I'm supposed to do, and as we mentioned earlier, we both read and H2G2 a lot.
As for smiley - fishing, I haven't been for ages. Do you go sea or freshwater?

Okay, okay...

Post 33

Ming Mang

Oops. I meant smiley - fish to simply be a smiley - fish and not mean anything in particular. I went hyper, you see...
Sorry...
Three Blind Mice, huh? I managed to get my Dad to play that on recorder once. He hasn't tried since...
I got bored of Recorder, Violin and eventually Clarinet. I still play Piano, but I'm crap. Strangely, I actually practise Flute without prompts or reminders from anyone. I enjoy it. I've never particularly enjoyed playing anything before. It's strange...
What else did I say?
Oh yeah, not doing homework. At the moment I should actually be doing my Chemistry coursework. Due in -3 days. No teacher really likes me for some reason...
What aren't you doing?

¦M¦

Okay, okay...

Post 34

Bluebottle

Oh, so you don't go smiley - fishing? Well, nevermind - I haven't been for a very long time. But I only did freshwater when I did. smiley - smiley
I can't play the piano well, and the noises inflicted by me on a recorder are worse tortures than the evilist murdered can deserve.
I'm currently doing very well at not doing any of my law work. Soon I'll probably be not doing my exams. Hmm... c'est la vie.

Okay, okay...

Well, if you count dabbling about in streams with small nets on the end of sticks turning over stones and generally trying to be stealthy in catching bullheads and minnows and freshwater shrimps (and whirligigs) smiley - fishing then I do smiley - fish sometimes.

Yeah, recorders, penny and tin whistles and violins are the 'Nightmare Instruments' according to me. Although when violins are played properly they're OK.

Exams. The stuff Hell is made of. We have our End of Year exams next week... *shudders*

Post 36

Good to know we have both got very limited smiley - fishing experience!
As with all instruments, when they are played well, they are played well, yet any instrument that is played badly hurts, no matter which one it is. Yet, for some reason, it is the violin and recorder that schoolchildren are encouraged to play, which means my little sister is encouraged to regularly torture us all. smiley - sadface
But Exams - they are much, much worse...
You can't even leave the room when they approach.

Okay, okay...

Post 37

Ming Mang

No... *shudders again*
My youngest sister also insists on singing. Out of tune. And we can't stop her...

Sisters... especially little and big ones... Do you know how much I could tell you about the terrors of them all? Over 20 years worth of nightmares and hauntings and horrors. smiley - winkeye Still, they're not too bad, really.
Except when they're loud. My oldest sister learnt to play the flute, violin (badly) double bass, piano and sings, and she practices the SAME TUNE for hours on end. You know when you have a song in your head that won't go away, it's like that but real, and when she finally does stop playing, you still have the song in your head as you are so used to hearing it!

Okay, okay...

Post 39

Ming Mang

Oooh, you're little brother - all us big sisters hate your lot!
But you're not the youngest, so that's a bit better - the youngest are always the worst.
I once tried to learn to play the violin. I disagreed with it.
Yeah, I know that feeling - it happens to me regularly every weeekday lunchtime - except Wednesdays. Terrible.
Let's change the subject to something more cheery.

Okay, okay...

Post 40

Typical of you big sisters to attack little, defenceless baby boys. I remember all the things my sister tried to do to me when I was trapped in my cot unable to escape. All I wanted was a quiet life, completely unlike my little sister who likes being as noisy as possible. But we are one happy family overall, honest!
So, a cheerful conversation - hmm, I'm out of ideas. Your turn!
