Baile esta cumba means dance the cumba,a sothern mexican dance that shows up in the discotekas, and more commonly in the quincenera ceremony ( the celebration of a young mexican, catholic girl's 15th birthday in which she chooses a life of church or family)
It's a fun dance, I learned it from my best friend when I was 12. It goes isqierda, derecha, enfrente, isquierda, derecha, enfrenteand so on, oh yeah y'all don't speak spanish, translation= left, right, front, left, right, front, the directions being steps. It's best done to tejano music or very fast paced country.
Special for Crazy man
and for everyone else

good I'm glad to clear this all up. Mexican history and dances are very important to me, it's wierd not to have everyone know what I'm talking about.

CittyKat, some of us have heard of
the Carioca, the Samba (both of them
important in Brazil), the Tango, the Rumba,
etc. I even learned to dance a few of them
when I was in college 35 years ago. (I never
danced them well. I never danced *anything*
well.)
Some of us were made for dancing, and some weren't.
Let the record show that I have never been a
15-year-old Mexican girl.

No quiz.
Except there might be one in the afterlife to see what you learned during your time here on Earth, but don't worry, that's in a VERY long time

And I want to be prepared, too.
Be prepared, that's the Boy Scout's marching song.
Be prepared, as through life you march along.
Be prepared to hold your liquor pretty well,
Don't write naughty words on walls if you can't spell.
