"Sweet bleeping Christ, honey, should all these lights be going off?!?" Spectradust hollered against the din, one hand on the back of the pilot's console and one hand on the control panel. "It looks like the ship is burning up!"
Chrysalea turned and grinned that grin of hers. "Don't worry about a thing, man of mine, just think about what a great guide entry this'll make once we land!"
Spec, out of habit, reached for the backpack strap, secure in the knowledge that however they crashed, he'd still have his H2G2 unit with him.
You'd think a feller could disappear for a year, get married, and no one would notice!
