Granted, the first thing I do on Monday is say something along the lines of "Argh, Sodit, I'm going back to bed" I'm not going to change the name of Monday just to celebrate this insignificant event that occurs every week (Well, nearly every day when I'm at Uni).
And in changing the name of Thursday, you dishonour the God Thor, after whom the day was named.
