Since the theme of this thread is "Blushing pirates and other drinks," I was wondering if we could each think about the following question: If I were a drink, what would my ingredients be?
I'll go first: If I were a drink, I would be mulled cider, with some cinnamon sticks and a hint of cranberry juice.

"and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."
Ahem.
But anyway, a G&T. Dry, some sparkles, tinkling of ice, enough oomph to make you a bit dizzy. And with a twist.

i'd probably be one of those nasty spirits that one finds a half bottle of left behind after a party that you can't remember seeing anyone drink

i would be the last few drops on the bottom of a bottle of irish whiskey that someone forgot in the darkest corner of the bottom shelf in a deep cellar long, long ago: old, smooth and yet still with that characteristis sting

I don't know, but one of the key ingredients would be tabasco sauce
