I'm sure its absolutely beautiful on your pc, but with my monitor its truly scary and the writing ineligible - make that illegible......when my boat comes in and I get a new pc I'll try it again.......wonder what sort of boat it will be..a Viking longship? a canoe?

How to cross the sea.....hmm, I'd like to cross in one of those walking insect-like things, you know in The War of the Worlds, they have long bendy legs and sort of stride along
or wade along

Bassman - Funny how people never ceases to amaze me! Posted May 3, 2002
I just checked your machine and found THIS....
I found this caught in the drum, lucky it didn't get as far as the pump - or that would have been expensive....
Is it yours?
Bassman

The continent of Europe is so wide,
Mein Herr.
Not only up and down, but side to side,
Mein Herr.
I couldn't ever cross it if I tried,
Mein Herr.
So I do..
What I can...
Inch by inch...
Step by step...
Mile by mile...
Man by man.

I would not like it in a boat
I would not like it with a goat
I do not like green eggs and ham
I do not like it Sam I am!

... I wished I had you in Carrickfergus,
Only for nights in Ballygrand,
I would swim over the deepest ocean,
The deepest ocean to be by your side ...

My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words
Of thy tongue's uttering, yet I know the sound:
Art thou not Pierce, and a ?
Good night, good night! As sweet repose and rest
Come to thy heart as that within my breast!

Dreizehn Räuber auf dem Totensarg
Ho ja ho heja ho
Tranken Schnaps und der Schnaps war stark
Ho ja ho heja ho
[Thirteen (sea)robbers on a dead man´s coffin
Ho ja ho heja ho
Drank Schnaps, and the schnaps was strong...

Phlebas the Phoenician, a fortnight dead
A current under sea
Picked his bones in whispers
Oh you who turn the wheel and look to windward
Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you
