Well I do hope you heal up quickly - I have to remark you are very clever not to reveal anything personal at all about yourself. Apart from the liking of cold
that is

How charming!
Thank you.
Anyway, it seems to me you're a bit like a politician or detective - you turn the conversation away from yourself so neatly! It takes great skill to do that I think.

Yes, but no but, ... yes - well you did, but I still have to guess whether you have had appendicitis or other emergency or plastic surgery.
I'd still be sympathetic either way.... I think
Anyway I prefer showers, rather than a bath when the weather is warm.

And it's not lazy to recuperate. Its an occupation, called convalescence. Anything that you do that has a real name is not being lazy. Sunbathing for instance has a name, so although it is really lying down in the day time, it is an activity in itself. Well that's my excuse

G'day....
I'm about to de-smell-erise myself in the shower and take myself off to the hospital !
How are you? Have you been for a quick paddle on the beach yet this morning? It's been a month since i had sand sticking between my toes and I miss it!
Have a good day

Thanks for asking!
I'm feeling fine, have done pretty much the whole time. A bit tired occasionally but nothing too horrendous.
The wasn't the one I was expecting but I go hardly go barging into the operating theatre where mine was... So the visit was slightly pointless, although obviously I got an occasion to flash my scar. He said it looked fine but didn't bring out any
to celebrate. I'll have to have a second operation soon and he told me about that, not a lot more than I'd been told before.
So having made the effort to go out, I went for lunch in a seafood restaurant. A couple of glasses of..... white wine...., an excellent lunch and a siesta. Basically, I enjoyed my day out.
I hope you're having fun. You're pretty discrete about yourself as well. If you tell me about your day, please self-censor any swimming in the sea (paddling is acceptable) because with this 2nd op coming up, it'll be even longer before I can indulge.
Have a great day,

Weren't those doctors young? Glad to hear your
visit wasn't too bad, but I'm sorry to hear you need more surgery.
Interesting you say you think *I'm* discrete, I thought I went on and on about my life,
I should mention, before you ask again about the paddling, that I have had to return to the UK this week. Various family necessities! Seemingly I am indispensible.

True enough! Anyway I like hats - they cover a multitude of sins.
