I'd like Brennivin for my dog. If he survives, I'll have a little of it myself.

Good morning to you too
Yes it seems to be a good day, even if I had to get up quite early to watch the formula one race
daylight saving time didn't help
but it was an interesting race and now i half most of the day left and no plans, so no stress either

I've never seen formulas race, but if only one formula was on the track, it could have won just by showing up.

The time has come to go and check out the waves and tide. Hopefully not too windy today for a swim.
Back later!

I watched a great F1-race, spent some quality time with some of the guys down at the yacht club and will now enjoy a great new tv-series

It was so peaceful, that I fell asleep! and when I woke up I just couldn't muster the energy required to go for a swim after all. I hardly ever fall asleep - so this was weird Even now, I feel rather calm and probably could go back to sleep. Maybe this is a side effect from the hour change?
Anyway, I love the hour going forward as the beach is just perfect at 5pm. The tourists all go back to their hotels and the locals all just sit around, nattering, swimming, and it is really great
Plus, the sun is still warm but unlikely to cause skin damage.

I hope it's clear-ish where you'll be but it looks like I'll be buying some extra strong mints again
and breathing on my hands to keep warm

Well I'm flying into Manchester - and the warnings are severe for there. Then travelling into the Staffordshire Moorlands - which are always likely to have some snow - even in May is not unusual.
Oh pffffft! This winter has been terrible - I thought it had gone away by now though.

Staffordshire used to be full of pottery and dinnerware factories. Nowadays, a lot of that activity has moved to Asia because labor costs are lower there. Still, it makes sense for china to be made in China....

Yes! You're right Paul - all that is left is a whole lot of history.
On a lighter note - I just spotted one of the life guards walking past in just his speedos. Obviously, they can't do this very often due to the problems caused by fainting women like me - or 2legs. Those baggy t-shirts and shorts really do conceal some well-built young bodies
