Hi Eomando! Nice to meet you!
Erm... stalker? I don't ~think~ I'm a stalker...
*looks confused*
You ~did~ hint that I should come to your page...
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted May 29, 2000
*looks slightly startled*
Oh... hello! I didn't realise I was quite so popular...
Yeah, so I see... want help looking for a suitable name?!
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Paul Prefect (It's been 2 years now... wow... 8-)) Posted May 30, 2000
OK... I admit I hinted at something like that...
Well... You don't have to admit to being a stalker, of course... It's just that everyone else in this forum is...
And yes, I suppose she would like some help with her name... Only me and E haven't been very inventive lately...
you are NOT boring!!!
Ferroc Posted May 30, 2000
*hopeful look* Any ideas at all would be very appreciated
(I can't go about as Researcher Looking-for-a-Name forever...)
you are NOT boring!!!

...erm...you could go find a random word generator perhaps...?
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted May 30, 2000
Oh, er, OK I'll do my best to help...
Just go and find the book of baby names...
Hey! Isn't there an Entry here on names NOT to call your baby or something?? You could try looking there if you can find it...??
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted May 30, 2000
Well, if there IS such an Entry, I couldn't find it...
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Ferroc Posted May 30, 2000
No success either for the 'names not to call yuor baby'...
But the results of a random word generator were qutie... interesting...
A selection: verkrampte, cryptogram, cowpuncher, jellygraph, dazzlement and triphthong.
you are NOT boring!!!
Paul Prefect (It's been 2 years now... wow... 8-)) Posted May 31, 2000
jellygraph & triphtong are the best IMHO...
Hm... I'm afraid none of us can really think of new names... We try to think of places were we could find them...
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 1, 2000
I suddenly remembered a name I thought up once but my sister said she'd heard it before and then got very shifty about where she'd heard it... anyway, the name was 'Lysanda'. Laugh now.

Or SilverFish... ??
Oh, about the dictionary thing, maybe if you tried using a dictionary in a different language... ??

you are NOT boring!!!
Ferroc Posted Jun 1, 2000
That name sounds familiar to me too... just can't remember where from... (there would be a confused smiley here if I knew what one looked like)
Foreign dictionaries... good idea. French, German or Spanish... Can't find the German one.
Spanish: Ferroc. = abbreviation for railways (I went too far in the flicking through...) But it is better than nothing. Or even better than 'Researcher Looking-for-a-Name'...
you are NOT boring!!!
Paul Prefect (It's been 2 years now... wow... 8-)) Posted Jun 2, 2000
*grins* Hm, OK, I was just about to welcome the researcher Ferroc to this conversation... When I realised it was you...
Hm... Sounds nice... Yep... I like it...
What do the others think?
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 2, 2000
Hee hee! LOL!!
Good, I'm glad you've found a name!!
Only it reminds me of rust... ferrous oxide... that sort of thing...
How comes 'Lysanda' sounds so familiar to everyone except me??
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Paul Prefect (It's been 2 years now... wow... 8-)) Posted Jun 3, 2000
*grins* I'm afraid Lysanda is familiar to me as well...
One moment, I'll remember where I've heard it...
Er...
I *think* it was the name of an elf somewhere... But I don't know where, or why so many people know it...
Oh well...
you are NOT boring!!!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 3, 2000
OK, this is bordering on the "It's SOOOOO unfair!!" complaint...
How come everyone knows the name Lysanda except me??
¦M¦
you are NOT boring!!!
Insane Endeavour Posted Jun 4, 2000
I know it too... wasn't it spelt Lysander and the name of someone in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream?
Could that be it? (Sorry Ming)
