I see that you are now not only an ACE and the Princess of Darkness but also the Blower of Bubbles. I'm sure there's a reason for that.
Just had another exam this morning. Saturday morning exams at 9:00 are NOT FUN.
Oh yes, and I've remembered wwhy I'm a physicist: because I can't do anything else (maths is too hard, chemistry too messy, biology too boring). Lucky me! smiley - winkeye

http://www.h2g2.com/A330364 pictures taken in hyde park last weekend at the h2g2 meetup, and a link to more in the post article... you will then see the reason that I am blower of bubbles. smiley - bigeyes
Happily none of my exams are on a saturday. I am thankful for small mercies. smiley - smiley
Biology can be messy too... dissection=yuck, bleugh.

Kitty

Physics is fun?

I know, I had the same question about 2 years ago... round about the 2nd year exam crisis (and solid state physics).
It got a lot better when I could pick my options (geophys=mucking about in Hyde Park and atmos) but I still didn't enjoy Semi-Con Dev.
Still, I've done the degree now and am, unusually, still a physicist (have you noticed that the majority of physicists go into things like accounting(!) and not physics?).... gone so far as the D.Phil. thingy. YAAAARRGGGHHHH!!!!

I am *not* going to become an accountant. This I hope I promise myself. So far and no furthur; *not* an accountant.

I'm not sure I know anyone who actually wants to do work when they graduate...
Still I'm on a four-year degree course so I'm pretty well stuck with Physics, which is good because I enjoy it, if that's at all possible.
That's quite interesting... Joanna and I have been chatting for about 9 weeks now (over 2 months!!) and until now no-one else has joined us. Well, the more the merrier I guess! smiley - smiley

Since you're the only person I talk to on h2g2 (for reasons of time, i.e. I don't have any) I think we *have* done rather well to keep on going for two months!!

hi... sorry it's been so long replying but i've been drunk for a week (or thereabouts!) smiley - smiley
Now I've finished my exams I'm just chilling around...that is until the results come out. Gulp smiley - sadface

But I still seem to have lots to sort out...I'm a busy, busy guy. Can I recommend my friend Mark's website; he lives down my corridor and has got a webcam which you might enjoy glancing at now and then. Not that the view (some of Mark's head as he sits on his floor at the computer) changes very much. The address is http://www.cs.nott.ac.uk/~mch99c if you're interested.

Keep smilin'! smiley - bigeyes
