Crikey I forgot the most important news: daughter had her Viva today - 3&half hours!!! Anyway, along with her written report - she's passed , so now she is officially a PhD student - the first year counts as a Masters, although it's a PhD project.

Am I proud? YEAH!!!!!!!!!

I am going to the meet in the Netherlands in a month from now. Next year I'll join the scandinavian meet here in Denmark, if I can.

I have had the same thoughts about meeting fellow hitch hikers in RL - but I have come to "my usual conclusion": It's better to regret the things you have done - than the things you have *not* done

This is an experiment to see if I can get my old stuff back!! Testing, testing. 14/12/04

Ah ... well ... I got into my old account & sent myself a message - now that "thread" has turned up on my new account! Don't ask me what's going on! I did e H's help, but didn't get very far unless ... they have "done" something.

Another question for you - how on earth do I get the piccies? They were turning up below where you type the message, but they seem to have disappeared now?

Does everyone have this trouble or am I just jinxed!

Aha! The Smileys have turned up at the bottom of the Reply bit - where they SHOULD be!! So that's OK now!

Now, onto pics for my home page, yes where do I get them from?

I had a beautiful one on my old home page (go have a look!), but I did want to cut out all the rubbish I wrote on that page - so now I have a chance to do something "completely different" - 'aint got a clue what yet, but at least one piccie would be a start!!
