Shirps

Now you two behave & get along with each other otherwise I shan't speak to either of you again (both sigh with great relief)

Hiya you swashbuckling reprobate (Pierce that is, unless you haven't told me something Shellers?) - sounds like you enjoyed the forwards (off h2 line)! Have you explained to Pandora about the "procedure" to get back here?

Shellers, it's OK I'm not THAT bad - I can walk & even skip smiley - smiley. Basically, I've got lots of tendon problems in my arms & shoulders, have had at least 4 ops plus cortisone injections to trigger fingers (where the fingers get stuck down), plus carpal tunnel ops, & now I have "wear & tear" in my neck - great!! All this basically means: I shouldn't do too much keyboard work (that's how this all started some 12 years back) & sleeping is a real pain as I can't get comfortable. You could call all this trouble under the umbrella term of RSI. All this reminds me, I must get my microphone set-up fixed & get voice activated software!! Probably get laryngitis then - ha! While we're on this subject I've been diabetic since I was 11 & it was my birthday on 11th March - smiley - winkeye That's all on that subject, but might explain my drinking habits? Which, I might add, I thoroughly enjoy!

Crikey, on Anglia TV just now, someone has been awarded the place of 2nd best website in the area: he's kept weather records in his back garden: temp, rainfall & wind for the past 29 years & now he's put it all on his website!!! Everyone to their own!

I enjoy walking too, as long as it's not too far & I have a decent sized bar of choccy (did you two know I love choccy - & Easter is coming soon! Very bad for me, but in little amounts ...... well!)

Now come on, that's what husbands are for: decorating & gardening - over to you ........ ha smiley - smiley

Ermmm - well reprobate's now too far out smiley - smiley

I'm glad that you're not (quite) as bad as I'd thought. Don't worry about drinking habits - if I couldn't sit down at the end of the day and have a drink I couldn't cope.

[The BBC would like to point out that other ways of getting through the day are available]

No, Shirps, I haven't. But that's just because Gwennie told me she was already stirring things up both here and there to help Pandora going again. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine.

Let's have another round of smiley - stiffdrink, shall we?

To reprobation!

Excuse me for this Shellers.

Aye, aye, cap'n - let's go for the rum, we have a barrel sitting below decks, heh, heh!!! smiley - winkeye

I kept telling my ma & pa I wanted to be a reprobate &, for some reason, they didn't think I should be - can anyone tell me why? smiley - winkeye

If they are anything like Shirps they wouldn't recognize common sense if it bit them in their thighs! smiley - biggrin

Here's to your uncommon sense, darling! smiley - stiffdrink Go mad like the rest of us and save your sanity for later! (Well, one never knows when it may come in handy, right?)

I don't know what to say..... I've sat here for 10 minutes trying to think .........I'm not like ma & pa, they had bundles of common sense, like "why don't you make a bead curtain, it'll be cheaper than buying one", 6 months later: Shirps still sitting by fire cutting bamboo canes into half inch lengths, smoothing the edges & threading onto string.

So who do you think had the common sense!!!! By the way, it never got finished - I bought one - tut, tut!!

Sanity? mumble, mumble. As my grandad used to say:
"Them thats in, should be out & them thats out, should be in"

Need I say more?

Hee-hee-hee. Where were your granddad when he said that?

(It's a good thing to be able to take things like this lightely. It's only been four month since I last visited someone, who was locked up in a mental hospital).

Could your problems with that picture of yours have anything to do with The Mods?

continue ... (don't know what happened there i think i clicked accidentally on the buttons!)

we shouldn't dwell all the time on the bed things, otherwise we'd end up in a bit of a state too.

I don't know about the Mods, maybe the Rockers smiley - winkeye How do I find out?Shellers hasn't come back. Have we upset him yet?

C'mon, cheer up - the sun's out!!! (Tomorrow's another day)

OK, I went to where the pics are - amazing, never found them before!

I highlighted the description (you know the the phrase is on my home page (at the bottom of my writings), did copy & then paste onto my page - didn't work. So then I tried cut & paste - still didn't work - I have the description, but not the picture.

Hope you understood that - I did follow the instructions, but then I can make mistakes - believe it or not smiley - winkeye

Pirate:

Hi Shirps,

When you edit your page, you can either do it in plain text or GuideML and I'm sure you've done yours in plain text. GuideML tags are the bits that look like <...> and they won't work in plain text, so although you can do the normal smileys and things like smiley - smiley you can't do any fancier pics. Try doing your page in GuideML - it's quite easy once you get the the hang of it. Start out by going to edit your page, highlighting all the text, right-clicking and selecting 'copy', then switch to GuideML using the button at bottom left and paste the text between the opening and closing tags. Your page should now look identical but will now be in GuideML. Once you've done that you can try to add other pics etc.

Steve
