Just begun The King of Elfland's daughter 
by Lord Dunsany - read it years ago, but need to be reminded!! A must for all you fantasy fans - it was apparently the first great adult fantasy book. Reminds us of the old countryside ways of life as well.

Half way through Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler - really good read. I won't tell you anything about it as it would spoil it, only to say that I'm just over halfway through and it's 23 March 2001 & my daughter's birthday is 20 May. Get it, read it & see what I'm getting at!!!

The formula is 1:1.618
Symmetrical faces are apparently better looking than asymmetrical, that's why we always say "our good side"!! This applies to humans.
(our dog's formula is probably something like 1:3, but she's beautiful!)
I personally don't believe a word of it - beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

Aches & Pains

Sorry about this, but I just want to write it down! I think the tendonitis & tenosynovitis have crept up my neck to the base of my head. I can't sleep properly & my sugar levels are going haywire. I am getting cheesed off. That's done 
Heard some really bad news about a friend - it was a great shock, I haven't known her long, but I realise how lucky I am & to stop whinging. So this is my last whinge, now it's all applie pie & hunky dory.
Really enjoyed Voyager tonight, I reckon the Borg are the best thing since the Daleks
