an excursion with time travel nah!
Posted Mar 22, 2012
I travelled to tomorrow and because I found it boring, I came back to yesterday. Then having realised that I’d been there already, I came back to today. But it wasn’t there, it had gone to tomorrow. Now if I went to tomorrow, would I find the tomorrow that was boring or go two days forward? Which wouldn’t be tomorrow then? Again! If I found that one boring as well and came back, which yesterday or today would I arrive at? While I ponder that one over, I did go back to last week three days ago. I’d had a good sleep on one of those days, so went back to have another good kip. Don’t know if it was due to jetlag or some another influence, but after I got back I was still tired. I’ve marked that one down, so not to go back to it again. There was a good side to it though, I set the freeview recorder to record a program I know will not be repeated, that I’d missed to set recording the day it was being shown, as I was watching a different channel at the time.
I don’t think I’ll bother going forward too far, as the Olympics are due soon and I’ll already be bored with virtually every channel showing the various events, repeats, best of, highlights and the following many discussions of why this and why that and he/she should have.
Looks like I’ll be forgetting that marked off one and just keep going back to last week for 6 month till it’s all over. Thinks I’ll see if anything exciting went off further back maybe, then again! I’ve forgot what I did 2 days ago, so that might have possibilities. Either way, don’t you just get bored to tears with time travel because it’s so repetitious.......

Right! Just to clarify things ok. This is not a journal type entry, nor is it a blog. Because as far as I’m concerned, a blog is a place I visit on a regular basis and it’s only that someone, a yuppie type person as added an “L” to it. Also I must inform you, that it is neither a “twitter” as I don’t watch birds. Mainly because it’s too cold out and that they don’t wear miniskirts now-a-days.
The reason I’m writing this has now gone out of my thoughts and memory, so nothing new there eh. I knew what I wanted to write whilst downstairs, but after watching TV for a while and then the carer calling to see to my son and tuck him up for the night, by the time I came upstairs to the PC room, lapse of memory as per.
I remember the first paragraph, but from the “The reason” onwards, this is now in to make something up land and as a Yorkshireman, I don’t like to throw stuff away and rather than delete something I’ve started, like this, I’ll continue.
So now! Rather than waste an internet piece of pretend paper, I’ll write something else.
I will note here, that just in case anyone isn’t profound in the use of the English language (that includes me) the reason (and this is the first written “The reason” and NOT any of the following “The reason”’s) is the 80th and 81st words in this written piece that I’ve err written/wrote and even still writing.
If during the course of writing this, I remember what it was I was going to write about returns, I don’t think I’ll amend this or even write a new one. As the initial thought will now not be as interesting as when I first thought it, as it could have been topical. Not that I usually write something that’s topical, more of an observation maybe, but mostly on a humorous side.
Anyway! I think this I’ve written far enough now and will finish by saying – asking or even stating – how many if you read it all and who just scrolled down to the end.
This part of this written thing has been done before you’ll notice, but it’ll still have some reading all way down
Oh! By the way – I’ve finished writing it now (that I’ve err written/wrote and even still writing) as you can see!
