Saturday night, another sleepless one for jnr, plus continuing throwing up of liquids etc he tries to "consume stuff"
But the doc' says everything is ok (and expected)

He phoned me today and I said the old saying don't try to run, until you learn to walk! your body has had a big "attack" and needs to settle downIT will take a few days but bear with it!
Been there and bought the T-shirt etc

Sorry to hear that! I hope it settles down soon!

on "medical" issues, Jnr is like me You haven't got to do that etc = as in we both know our bodies
BUT! In some circumstances that has to take second stage

G/News Today, P/jnr hasn't "thrown up" ) all day and also has had 1 of 3 drainage tubes removed

Stomach looks like settling down and recovery on course

Great news!

He told me today, that he thinks ? "they" are going to remove the one that goes down a certain male "pen" tomorrow

I've told him againtrauma to the body, takes time to settle down and recover "normal" functions

In his case normal functions are different to those who Haven't had spinal injuries

Absolutely! I'm glad it's going so well, but I know it will take time.

Speaking of upset stomachs, my sister told me this morning that her granddaughter and grandson both came down with the stomach 'flu last night. She says they were up all night and nobody got much sleep.

I don't know about P/jnr's thinking before he broke his neck etc ?
But since that time, I've found that he's like me "a realist"
Life happens, so just take what's thrown and get on with life
So I know that "this" event in HIS life, will be "water off a ducks back" and carry on regardless

PS: I'm as proud as a father can be

"xmas" celebrations can always be taken later
