Everyone has brain fade now and again, I was knitting bears for our local emergency services to give to children, I had to look up how to cast on a specific way on YouTube because I couldn't remember how to do it

Years ago, I did a free Mensa test for IQ

I scored 140 But! To do a full test "they" wanted 25 quid and I'd had have to travelled 20 mile to a uni' to do it

This was at the time when I became a single parent of my 2 kids.
25 quid was needed for THEM

I'm not sure ? but I think 140/141 was classed as in the top 4% brainy folk
To join Mensa needed 145 (again I think/memory) but like readers digest, all they wanted was to sell you books etc

I only did it, to actually find out my IQ as such, even though I KNEW I was a genius

You don't have to be born a genius, you can acquire it

In the 1970's when 15 to 20 plus guys, from my local pub at the timehit the town on Friday/Saturday nights (in various groups)
me and 3 mateswere "our" groupand out for a laugh!!!

In one of our town nightclubs, we "trained" a waitressto bring us:- 1 whisky with ice and 3 gins + 1 bottle of tonic water to our area every 15 mins

When I'm in the box room on the pcI nip into my bedroom for a "gulp" of Scottish fire-water(about every 15 mins) old habits die hardhence lack of time

I'm playing Civilisation 6 (and it's 2 other companions "at various times")
hence loss of time
BUT! Sometime next year (date unknown) Civ' 7 is coming out
It might cost 50 to 60 quid ??? (price not known yet)
SO I could be missing here more as I get "into" it
