*raises eyebrows* whoa!
Posted Jan 30, 2003
Someone linked to my pre-meet photos !
I feel bad for not taking more wide ranging ones now!!
*has been generally browsing*
Nyssa and Njan looked wonderful, which is cool.
Even if I didnt get to meet her . (not that I'd of had the confidence to go and say hello, she wouldnt of wanted to talk to me anyway as Im just lame and Ohhhh
)
*taps keyboard absent mindedly*.
I started to learn the guitar last night, I can do the chords for Maxwells Silver Hammer . The oboe is going back, woodwind just isnt my thang. Lol, and guitars are much cheaper to buy. and look cooler. *drools over the idea of playing the Bass guitar, then smacks herself*
Im trying not to cut, Im trying really hard - MARCUS! my arm is healing, there are just scars there at the moment. on one of the pre meet photos you can see how red with cuts my arm was on Friday .
I found it rather..insulting the way some people are prejudiced to age. As some people know (you know what I mean), Marcus is 15. I used to feel odd about the prospect of an 18>15 relationship, but i often find myself being suprised that he IS only 15. Both Marcus and my brother have suddenly rapidly matured over the last 5 months.
Stealth laughed in my face @ the pre-meet when he verified that Marcus was 15. I've told myself to understand that because he is an only child(?),that he isnt as used to interaction with younger children as I am. Im not angry and Im not trying to insult Stealth, depsite what he thinks I do respect him and its not his fault that he feels how he does generally...especially if the paroxatine is as 'annoying' as he makes out it to be. *sighs deeply*
(I realise this journal is getting long. Sod it, you dont have to read any further if you dont want to )
My finger tips hurt ...from playing the guitar i mean.
There's a man sitting opposite me that looks like a cross between Patrick and the jokey office man from The Fast Show (the one in the multi coloured shirt and the ginger hair.)
Ooh, wow, so much..ness! NOW theres a man who was waiting in Highworth Clinic while I was waiting too! (the psychiatric clinic @ the hospital).
*sighs*
I have 27 mins left and I really need the loo.Ooh, I was going to print off guitar chordy things as my scribbles are hard to read *goes off to do that*

The pre-meet;
Posted Jan 28, 2003
well, starting with Dr Justin and mines pre-pre meet
Met @ trafalgar square successfully,
went to starbucks and had a mocha and hot chocolate with 2 of the Paper Lady's pictures,
went to Waterstones where I spent about 30 mins trying to decide what books to buy from the 3 for 2 offer,
walked up and down the road of the pre-meet pub until we found it and went in,
waited by the entrance with pints in hand,
met Stealth (as Dr Justin put it "You could cut the tension in the air with a pick axe" ((or something along those lines)))
Shazz came and found everyone else who were in a different area of the pub,
spent a long time drinking and moving from the Dr's knee to Stealth's knee and vice versa (there werent enough chairs).
It was good.....I didnt get to meet Nyssa, which i am REALLY pissed off about. Butttt...Im recieving my cd with all my pictures on it (IO took a camera and got them processed onto a cd; £1.99, very ), so I shall try and post them online @ some point in the near future.
Computer is dead. I am going to buy a new one and sell Caedmons components to a computer repairer.
To use the words of Blackadder; "The King is probably dead! Long live the king!"
If anyone has suggestions for what to name my new computer, please let me know. I will warn you in advance though, I refuse to call it something lame like....Fluffy. (although actually, thats quite a cool name...*hits herself*)
*sigh* In other news....asthma's bad, put on a smeg load of weight and my arm wont be cut properly because its getting so tough with the scar tissue.
Great fun all round.
