I didn't want to complain as such about being moderated, but after one of *those* days on h2g2 it made me laugh and I thought I'd share it with whoever cares to read it.
My hidden posting (which will be somewhat familiar to you all):-
This Posting is currently queued for moderation, and will be visible as soon as a member of our Moderation Team has approved it (assuming it doesn't contravene the House Rules). The Researcher who posted it is currently being spanked, so all new Postings they make must be checked before they become visible.
You can find out more about moderation on h2g2 here.

Well done - definitely the biggest smile of the day for me. Let's hope the Post will take it up this week.

Yes - it has been one of the strangest 48 hours on h2g2 that I can ever remember. Strange in part for me because I felt so strongly against moderation when we first had it, and so strongly about researcher bans and things like that, and this time I am much more numb.
I think the Italics are between a rock and a hard place. I don't actually have anything to say about Iraq and the war - I am too ignorant to hold any real opinions, and I don't want to engage with my emotions on the subject. So, oddly enough, although I am I am gagging, I don't feel gagged.
But I really like the way you recorded the events of today. I wish I had your gift for rhyme and rhythm. If I write that sort of poetry, it takes me days and is like doing an incredibly hard crossword puzzle.
Take care

It's very well captured in your poem, like Ben said. I half expect unions to form amongst the volunteers . Nice piece

Sometimes things get so serious that they suddenly become ridiculous.
Thanks for capturing the moment.
Everyone who reads this is going to feel better.

Ben
Strange? On H2G2? Surely you jest
re italics yes I agree, I didn't bother questioning the decision to remove my posting, it seemed unnecessary given the situation and the irrelevant nature of the posting.
I have little to add to the debates on either censorship or non-peace which has not already been said many times but I am happy to have brought a smile to a couple of faces with an *alternative* approach.
Should I forward this to someone at the Post
or are they watching ?
Everyone else
very much for your comments

Forward it, it is too good and too appropriate for it to slip through the web.
