My posting moderated
I didn't understand
It wasn't very bad
But they dismissed it out of hand
It wasn't rude or cheeky
I did not speak of war
I did not condone taking drugs
Nor spit upon the floor
I thought of what I'd written
There only was one word
With only seven letters
Not the rudest word I've heard
Its' saucy connotations
I'll readily concede
But endless moderation posts
Made Hootoo hard to read
As one by one the conversations
Filled with 'Post Removed'
I thought I'd have a little joke
But it was not approved
'Queued for moderation'
Twenty times on every page
And one or two researchers
Were obviously enraged
And what with the non-peace and all
The mods were overworked
And moderated posts abound
In every place I lurk
I took the moderation post
And changed one word to 'spanked'
If I had known they'd hide the thing
I might have made it w*nked
Unintended irony
Or simply light relief
For it to be considered spam
Was quite beyond belief
Let's hope a speedy end comes
To the current non-peace farce
And take your moderation
You can stick it up your ar$e
