h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The world is veiled in
darkness. The wind stops,
the sea is wild,
and the earth begins to rot.

The people wait,
their only hope, a prophecy....

'When the world is in darkness
Four Warriors will come....'

After a long journey, four
young warriors arrive,
each holding an ORB.

[You are standing in an open field, to the south of a large city surrounded mostly by forest. From here, a white castle is visible at the north end of the city.]

*Craxus shows up. His fists wraped in a hardened leather gloves. He's wearing a light burlap shirt under a Leather Crescent Gi. His long black hair tied in a knot in the back of his head. He carries an orb in his hands.Althogh i dont know what orb*


Interesting...


*Craxus looks to his left and right, looking at his fellow companions.*

Okay, orb-assignment time:

Craxus: Earth orb.
Ribald: Wind orb.
Valar: Water orb.
Phoenix: Fire orb.


[Ribald] Okay ... here we are. [looking north] ... That's probably Cornelia. We should start there. I think. [looks around] That sound good to you guys, or should we scout the area first?

*Craxus pondres amount.*


I think it's safe to go into the city.


*Craxus points to his orb.*


What should we do with these, store them in a bag?

[Valar]Thats what I'm doing with mine!

*Craxus takes the earth orb, and stuffs it into his side bag stashed around his belt.*


Let's go then...

Trying to wait for Phoenix ... but ...


[Ribald] All right, then, let's go!

[They head north. Abruptly, before they reach the town, a group of three Imps pops out of the grass and attack!]

I was waiting for something like this....


*Craxus pops his knuckles and moves his hands in a expertly move ready for the fight.*


Right...I call the guy on the left!


*Craxus moves a few steps forward but waits till his comrades join him.*

[Valar]I'll cover you

[Ribald] I'll just do this! [slashes the center imp in half]

*Craxus leaps extending his right leg forward aiming a kick to the Imp on the lefts, chest.*

~Valar decides this is too week a creature to do much damage and so takes a slice of the imp on the left~

[The imp on the left screams as it expires. The hitherto ignored imp on the right leaps at Craxus, screaming unintelligibly.]


I control NPCs, like I said.

*Craxus hears the screaming coming at him.*


*He leaps to left avoiding the imp, and aims a punch to its face.*

[The imp squawks, and starts screeching random sounds at him]

[Subtitle: "Ow, that was my nose! You are an incredibly rude person!"]

[The imp leaps at him again with intent to stabbity.]

*Craxus raises his hand and catches it.*


*He twirls the Imp around and reaches with his other hand for his mouth.*


Hey do we want some answers eh?


*He motions the imp.*

~Valar wonders whats going to happen to this imp~

[Ribald] Answers? Nah, imps generally don't need a reason to randomly attack people.

*Craxus applies more presure to the neck of the Imp, intending for it to either talk or break tis neck.*

[The imp dies, it's eyes bugging open and its tongue comically hanging out of its mouth. Cue the traditional victory fanfare.]
