Well of course!
I do have certain priveliges you know...
Oh, and BTW, how on Wherever did Njan manage to talk to you from 'across the room'? If he's at one end, and you're at another, E, there's 3km between you!

Yes, I know, I've been wondering how long it would take for people to notice I've been using an r and an n. (that makes it... 3 months?)

Yes, well, I thought it was a mistake up till now...
*realises what's just happened*
Hey! Don't try to insult my intelegence!!
I'll be cruising to San Beta shortly, so you'll see me vanish into space from this place in the Observatory...
Bye now!
*takes the central elevator...*

*a few minuts later, 2km below where they are Eomando and Njan are standing, the Smallcy exits the Private Hangar Bay. Seen as only a tiny speck from the Observatory force-shield walls, it glides out of its resting place, flies around the 'station, and moves into position for hyperspace...after clearing the galaxy, it would create a wormhole and fly to San Beta...*
*it jumps into hyperspace, not to be seen again for a week...*

*watches the Smallcy disappear & has an odd feeling that she's on it...*
*the realises just how much she has to stare at the screen to tell the difference between Eomando & Eornando....*
My eyesight's worse than i thought...

*The voice of the Space Station Computer is heard through the PA system of the entire 'station.*
[Attention all Space Station residence, employees and visitors. I am to announce that the owner of this vessel, Pr. C. Tonks, has left the Station for the week. He will return during the next Earth week. Until then, I am in full command of this vessel, and everyone is to comply with my instructions. Naturally, if everyone behaves in a normal fashion, no extra oders will have to be issued.]
[Thankyou. Have a nice day...]

*Several days later, a small dot is seen exiting the Hangar 3km down below. It turns round, and flies down towards the Beach...*

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
