I've been catching up on AWW reading over the last couple of days. Left this till last in case it had the same silencing effect a couple of your others did. And it did.

Thanks one and all for the kind comments ..... I wrote it for a competition, but in the end didn't submit it.... so poor Jimmy was never going to be heard except for the H2G2 opportunity........

Your stories always captivate me. It usually takes me until halfway through the second sentance to notice anyone speaking to me, because I can see everything, smell everything, taste and touch and hear everything in your world.
That said, I felt this piece repeating others of yours that I've read. The very last section being the exception. Otherwise, though, the theme and voice of the story was a little too familiar to me.
That said, it is perfect as its own piece. Thanks for adding another Moment to my day.

yeah ... there are three or four that look at one particular relationship but examine different endings...... there are are more on here, i think, that are a little different ..... the problem, however, is that the stuff i put up here tends to be stuff i haven't used anywhere else...plus it's all from one phase of where i was at in my writing ....and so it's definitely not representative of where i am now....

maybe some time i wil put some current stuff up .....

Oddly enough our QA said something along the same lines as Still_WRD. Which doesn't take anything away from this piece and it was voted for with enthusiasm by our miners.

So, obviously, what this post is for is to say we want to feature this in the <./>underguide</.>.
