i get rejected always. was just rejected by www.uproar.co.uk and they banned me as well. i think i will sue them. well, they are sueing me. whoever sue is.

A bit of swearing can harm nobody...just move away from the perpetrator if one is offended.Everyone gets upset now and then,when they have a bad day or someone lures them.I say ...my creed...live and let live!!! "Freedom of speech in any way""Turn the other cheek"!!

I must say reading this conversation is just too funny although someine will probably be offending by my butting in..oh well..

after perusing the previous entries,i've come to realize that nobody knows how to spell anymore(or doesn't care)-if this is the result of all this online chatting-well-i fear for us all-50806(just call me 5-0)

obvious logic tree. the more you write the less rejections...
someone somewhere collects rejections. and refuses to return them.... just find that special person.

I see someone's beaten me to the observation. Running down the list I was deciding between these causes:
1)typos
2)spell-checker illiteracy (where the spell checker can't spell)
3)A few people have been hanging around the Ad-agency too long and have picked up their habit of misspelling everything to catch our eyes.
4)Everyone's the victim of a Maentwrog

We've had a huge influx of entries since we launched, far larger than we expected. In fact, it was so large that we had to hire an Editor specifically for the task (and he won't be able to manage it all by himself, so we're looking for ways to make it quicker and easier). Since he joined we've refined our editorial policies, which is why there are some official entries that were accepted then but would be rejected now.

We *will* make it through the queue, however, so don't lose hope!

Sorry, but you are out of line. Consider your complaint to management, or whoever, rejected. You have to really work at something to get what you want. Rejection is no different.

Tee zarking hee. Sorry. Lack of sleep... Point being I submitted two thingies for rejection back in May, and a day or two ago (after I'd forgotten all about it) I got a lovely email telling me I had, at long last, been rejected. It only took 3½ months or 15 weeks or something like that. Sadly, however, a few hours ago I got another email, this time telling me I had failed to be rejected. I think I'm going to have to get therapy...

Currently they're about 15 weeks back on rejections. How can you possibly feel ignored with that winning streak you had on Word of the Day?

15 weeks to get rejected eh? I guess my first one is due later this month then! Oh the heady pleasure and gratification that rejection note will give me. At last I might find some meaning in my life once again...

The saddest part is that now they don't even give you the chance to ask for rejection. They make you ask for -approval- so you can feel bad.
