Why can't I get rejected?
Mark Moxon Posted Sep 10, 1999
Yeah, but the rejection note is now much more pleasant. If we had the technology, it would come smotheres in saccharine...

*grins* .. That may be, but I've only gotten one so I have nothing with which to compare it.
It just seems so much happier when you can come bounding into forums exclaiming, "I got -just- what I requested!!"

If you had noticed...My original complaint and answers far preceed my linguistic platitudes. I have little complaint now. I plan to start writing again soon, so I have 5 or 6 approvals and the same or more rejects. All is good.

Here is what the guide has to say about rejection:
Rejection is normally (though not always) taken to mean rejected by the opposite sex.
Infallible methods which contribute to said rejection are:
1) Consuming onions, garlic and suchlike in such copious quantities as to positively repulse all but the most robust of constitution
2)Perpetually breaking wind from the nether regions.
3) See 1) and 2)

Hurrah, my entries made it through the queue at last, and were both rejected. At last I have acheived what I set out for...

Hmmm... I've only got one, but I'm anticipating more.
(I mean... you did mean that you'd set out and recieved rejection, right? )

Well always the optimistic pessimist me. If you set out to fail, under-acheive or get rejected, then you can't be dissapointed. If you succeed in getting knocked back you can feel quietly pleased that you have realised your aim.
Anything else in life is a bonus.

Does this mean you won't be submitting pages now that the 'request rejection' thingy has been changed so that you're asking for acceptance now?
