Cheers LB, smiley - smiley I'm amazed you can part with them, I can't get rid of any of mine. smiley - erm Only the really rubbish ones that I hated can I get rid of. Did I ever mention Sherrilyn Kenyon to you at all? I've borrowed a couple of hers off a friend and really enjoyed them so am going to start buying them soon, just waiting to get some cheap second hand ones on Amaz.

actually, of the two its my fave tho i love them ( and her others ) my cousin rachel is very mysterious and i dont want to tell you too much as it may spoil it for you - basically he meets his cousin ( i think by marriage ) who has lived abroad for years and the story unfolds from there, as with rebecca she is a mysterious person and the story gets you from the start - in fact i may have to re read it now i have started to think about it smiley - smiley see thats what this board is all about i think

Oh Rebecca is such a wonderful book. Definately one I could reread again and again. The TV adaptation with Joanna Davies years ago was very good. I havent read anything else by Daphne Du Murier but I should. I think I should reread Rebecca. I am now reading one called Peripheral Vision , an Orange long list. It si one of those ones where you have lots of characters introduced in different scenarios and you are not sure how they relate yet. I am sure it will become clear and it is good writing. smiley - smiley

I found Rebecca quite haunting. Such a lovely book. There was a sequel written by someone else called Rebaccas Story but I dont know if it ever worked. I looked at it in the library but wasnt tempted enough to read it
