Hello

Am I first? I have nicked Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks from my friend's bookshelf as I dropped my son off there this morning!! On about pg 18. I think other people have read this, I'm sure I remember an R2 thread?

Great new home Intern - thanks

Hahahha

It's world war two, but I just went to check something and Body of Glass (god my memory!!), is a bit wierd and I never finished it - Gone to Soldiers is the one I'm thinking of and it has a range of characters living through WWII and their linkages and experiences, a marine, a girl working on the car lines in Detroit, a spy - all exciting stuff etc, etc.

So ignore Heart of Glass is a Blondie track smiley - doh, and read Gone to Soldiers instead - am goign for a very big lie-down!!

i have started the intelligencer and first impressions are mixed - i quite like it but some of the dialogue is a bit naff ( or is it me ) and the back story when it comes in is a bit clumsy ( hark at me . . who never wrote anything !!! )
but it is going ok
