Where there are more than 9 or 10 letters the number of possibilities increases exponentially (is that the right word?) so you need to narrow it down, perhaps by giving the no of words and letters in each word as in a crossword clue.

Actually, I think it increases with the factorial function, which is faster than exponential growth. I don't know of a name for it. That certainly doesn't contradict your point... where are we?

Ummmm, the only word I could get out of ICED TONER was RECONDITE meaing "hidden, obscure or difficult for one of ordinary intellect to understand" . Methinks someone's being awfully clever.
