Then she didn't say anything (she was talking about the actors btw, not the characters).

When I started reading the sentence, "Modern British TV chefs who can do anything without using the word...", "just" was not the word I was expecting. smiley - rofl

I just wanted to share this. After an entire morning of trying to find jeans that fit, I finally found some and bought two pairs (that was all they had in my size and length). I put them through the washing machine, as per the washing instructions, and they have stretched so much that they are now unwearable. I hate clothes shopping. smiley - steam

Anyway, my point is that if anyone has as much difficulty as I do finding trousers that fit, they probably bought ten pairs back in the day.

I wish mine would stretch in the wash... to match my expanding waistline smiley - blush usually they shrink, even on cold wash smiley - flustered

I got into the habit of buying more of one thing - trousers, shoes, shirts - if I really like it, after several instances of thinking 'I wish I still had that' after it wore out. And I always buy at least two pairs of 501s at a time because the only place I can get them is the mall, and it means I only have to go there about once a year smiley - run away! smiley - run away!

Dea.. - call me Mrs B!

We randomly found a new pair of 501's in DD's wardrobe last week - horribly as I was looking through old or rarely worn stuff at the back of the wardrobe to find a decent shirt for him to wear at my Mammy's funeral - these are tagged, fully labelled....but in a 28 waist, 30 leg.

If anyone can find that skinny boy that he must have been before I met him, please apply here! These must be vintage cos I'm sure he's never been a 28 waist in all the years I've known him!

4. Rubber/silicon spatulas.

I don't believe for a moment that Almighty Bob would allow anything His universe that scrapes the bowl so clean there's nothing left to lick out.

I always make sure to leave some scrapings in the bowl. You just can't make cake without licking the bowl out afterwards.

Most hens are vaccinated against salmonella anyway.

I prefer eating it at the stage where you have just creamed together the butter and sugar. In fact, I have been known to not bother going any further... smiley - blush

There's no such thing. If you mix cheese and liquid you get cheese sauce. End of.

Cheesy soup? Sure. Cheese soup, yeah, I agree.

Speaking of which, I keep catching the soup and salad buffet I go to putting broccoli and cheese soup where the chili con queso should be. They act like they're interchangeable. They're so not. Especially since they also have tacos you can make right beside it. smiley - facepalm
