Colour me flabbergasted, Jackruss. I did not see this coming. That is the biggest surprise I've had in a very long time!
But hey to you and have a nice life in my old country

A British mechanic in Germany? But German cars never break down
I understand Mercedes need Lewis to drive their F1 racer, but he's not hired as a mechanic
(irony may occur )

Paulh, what kind of way?
For weeks now I've gone back to using alabaster. There have been a few days on and off where even that didn't w*rk, but mostly it w*rks far better and faster than pliny

Ah, yes, Pfaff. Back in the day every housewife dreamt of having a Pfaff and sewing beautiful dresses for herself and others

paulh, yes, Ripley, that's what I meant. Do I remember correctly that you also used alabaster like yours truly?
Good to have you back

Even using Ripley (I'm a Brunelian) is no help when the h2g2 servers are kaput, which they are frequently and for longer periods of time.

I prefer Alabaster, but since Ripley is the only skin that works for me now, I've figured out how to use it.

Alabaster is a Ripley skin!
I only ever use Goo, which is also a Ripley, and only very occasionally have 404 message.
