I couldn't get into H2G2 for the last few days. Is this no longer worthy of comment?
And come on, folks - did nobody watch the SpaceX launch? No thread on that?

You were not alone. I was effectively locked out of h2g2 all weekend. I did notice the Pliny front page was working at one point, but I still couldn't get to my Ripley page and conversation list.
Also, at some point when I still could access the site, the horribly annoying Cookies notification had returned in force on every page opening.

Yes I also noticed. But you're right; once upon a time, such an outage would've spawned a thread of many pages.

Ah! But that's the point. There used to be a hooto refuge for the displaced masses of the site to congregate at whenever it was down. Used to be at yahoo groups, then something *noel*... 
I forget. So just wondered if there was anywhere nowadays.

I believe I saw a comment on Facebook or Twitter about the outage, but I can't recall precisely who or where.
I think those alternative spaces from the interregnum like Nowhere2Go2 (n2g2) might still be online, but are basically abandoned 
town . There's a couple of generic HHGttG themed boofcake pages (like Galactic Hitchhikers) where you'll find a lot of current and former researchers but that's not really what you're looking for. Maybe there's some place I don't know about that someone will pop in on this thread and enlighten us to.

I never even noticed the outage... which I'm sure says something deeply something about something... I'm just not sure what about what 
I so rarely turn the PC on thesedays, only having done so today to order up some medication 
and E-Mail my specialist 
- last time I checked accessing the site off a tablet, or phone, was a waste of time 
HooToo needs a android/apple app

Just for the record, I noticed the site was offline too. (and online, an offline again). This time I was lucky to have remembered my password.

I was locked out for 5 days..then I got back in yesterday and this evening I was locked out again.
