Text speak. Is it killing the art of conversation
AE Hill, Mabin-OGion Character of inauspicious repute Posted Sep 30, 2012
As for me, stage has been my Shakespearian experience.
But what was the point? BRB to the point.
Just as that generation must have lamented how the art of conversation was dieing out, so too we lament changeā¦ still, change is inevitable.
Pray we do not confront the pendulum of change and loose limb or worse.
Now study the pendulum and then move as is your pleasure.
See the rhythm of life unfold in ways beyond your dreams.
Just as you say, we learn the flow of it.
Like a switch, the mind turns on to the new pattern.
Be it William or Wee Willy,
what we immerse our minds in, we learn.
Teenagers immersed in what seems their new culture,
learn what others fail to appreciate.
And so the pendulum swings over the pit.
Eventually the mature sink ever deeper into the pit,
only to be followed by next generation.
