Right trying to work this out with colleagues. Though I imagine there were various iterations in different parts of the country and at different times.
During my childhood it went something like:-
"Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin Laid and Egg" 
"Batmobile's got no wheel, ......."
I can't really remember after that. Any ideas?

On the M4 motorway

Ours went:

And Joker got away..."
Looking back, it's not actually very funny.

On The Simpsons, Bart sings something like:
Jingle Bells, Batman smells,
Robin laid an egg
The Batmobile shed a wheel
And broke the Joker's leg.
My sister and her friends used to sing:
Jingle Bells, Batman smells
Robin flew away
Joker's in the Batcave
So now they've nowhere to stay.
To which I added the verse:
Catwoman has got mange
Penguin has been plucked
And they can't solve Riddler's riddles
So they're absolutely 
ed
