Is it wrong of me to 'look down' on celeb culture?

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

"They'll not be trying to sell you geeky products marketed for their geek appeal."

Well, I've already mentioned the Skyrim advert on t'telly... but geeky adverts in geeky places are often horrible. Either too "wow! Zappo! You're all just big kids who desparately want to be cool!" or just... rubbish.

If you ever saw the PBM ads in Dungeon & Dragon you'd know what I mean.

There are *some* good ones, but those are usually just showing the product in a relatively neutral fashion, the only targetting being the product itself rather than how it's marketed.

But then I am very cynical about advertising so obviously am inclined to either ignore it or negatively criticise it.

What I'm saying is that more sinks in than you realise...and that which does is so carefully calibrated towards you that you don't think to criticise it.

Never works on me, of course. Anyway...I'm thirsty. I fancy a Coke. Mmm...tasty delicious Coke,. Have you ever noticed how thirst quenching and tasty Coke is?
