I keep checking to see if they're letting folks in again -- so far, no luck. Don't know how those with invites are faring.

Invite received and acted on. I added you both first thing to my H2G2 circle, along with our O.P.

Seems much cleaner than FB, and I love that I can set who sees what. Now, just to wait and see what happens as the populace grows.

Is there a way to import your facebook friends withhout retyping all the email addresses?

Better check you all still have your Google+ accounts, looks like they've messed up big time regarding peoples names, with loads of accounts being closed without warning. I've just had this sent to me on twitter - http://zd.net/nyLX67 The person who sent it has cancelled his G+ account to avoid losing his Gmail address. They are shutting people out of EVERYTHING with a Google account connection, not just Google+. Glad I didn't get an invite now.

So do you think you can prevent this from happening by cancelling/deleting your google + page?

All my friends seem to be still there, but then they all use their RL names (I don't. I use the name all my friends know me by best).
