No doubt, the question has been asked before... but that was then, and this is now.
You can explain your own moniker, too, if you wish.

There's a researcher who goes by the name "Witty Moniker" U15777.
Would this name be funnier if it was "Witty Monica"?

Clearly, we think alike, Reddyfreddy! I was going to give examples - including 'Witty Moniker' (suggesting that it would be even wittier if the Researcher's name really was 'Monica'). I'd intended to give an example of a profound one as well, but I couldn't think of one...
For the record, 'Just Zis Guy, you know?' makes me smile.

I like Mu Beta mainly for the Eat Bum anagram. I know that was intended and it's also MB using the Greek alphabet but it's mainly the bum thing.

I like people who appreciate anagrams.
I don't imagine this one's appropriate, though:
Abstemious? So is Mu Beta!

Am I right in assuming that Rudest Elf is a deliberate agranam of Flustered?
As for a favourite name - Malabarista has got a nice flow to it, and I'm usually amused by Gosho's variations. I hate my own name, but then I hate my real life name as well, so I guess that's OK.

Yes, you are right, hygienicdispenser. I'm rather less flustered than I was when I first arrived, so I might change it to an anagram of my real name, 'Amiably corpulent' - what do you think?
I chose 'Rudest Elf' for the anagram, and also because it sounded like 'rudest health' - mind you, I was a lot fitter in those days.

Careful! If you get too close to outing me, we'll be yikesed. Seriously, though, if the people at the Anagrammy Awards Forum couldn't suss my name, it's probably not worth trying.
Blimey! I've just discovered that I 'Can pillory Mu Beta'.
