...and not one of them was rainbow coloured.
In fact, most people aren't until they've been tackled by Jamie Carragher.

Orcus, you're not in trouble. I'm not blaming you. I'm blaming the length of the smiley.
Thirteen letters is too long for a smiley. It should be abbreviated to or something.

kzwg for you can also do : - P without the spaces. Much simpler.

Interesting article by Juergan Klinsmann about how to solve England's problems

Klinsmann is wise enough to say that the German system wouldn't necessarily suit everyone. The important thing is to agree on a working system then find the players which fit it best.
It'll never happen in the UK, though.

Don't be so pessimistic. They need to change things, so who knows?

Sadly, Icy North does have a point. Most people on the front line of football know what needs to happen but it's ultimately up to the FA, who are as stubborn and ignorant as FIFA.

Whilst in Scotland, we got a disgraced and financially incompetent former politician to conduct a "review" which concluded he should be given a job.

It'll certainly not happen in England all the time that club football is king. The FA are like pigmy's compared to the power of the Premiership. It's a totally different set-up here. The Champions league and the Premiership are the priority. Murdoch certainly won't let his golden goose lose any of its sheen. I mean why would Sky want England to do well when the terrestial channels also get to show all the live matches? And it's only every 4 years, with the minor Euros in between. Far less money to be made.
The FA is still basically run by amateur blazers. They're a bit like the Lawn tennis asociation. That won't change either unless Sky see fit.
International football simply isn't a big enough priority. And the tabloids would be lost without all the amateur dramatics on and off the pitch, come the tournies.
Actually if I'm honest this is the first World Cup when deep down I cared much less because I know that's how it is. If people realy really cared the pressure would be for change. The structure could easily change. But it won't. The players are totally kerknackered, come the end of slaving away at 100mph for 9 months for Sky. He who pays the piper etc
I'm more hopeful of Arsenal actually coming good again.
