Gagdreek: Has anyone else ever been reminded of that show on h2g2?
Does anyone think it would be a good idea (or possible) to do something like that here at h2g2?
If you've never seen or heard of that show you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

I don't think it's possible to not have seen that show and be a DNA fan. Especially since it has been a hge hit on at least two continents (although I'm probably going to be labeled as a blasphemer by my countrymen when I say it was funnier when it was still based in Britain).
Yeah, it reminds me of that sometimes. The threads here get very improvisational... but not often with humorous results.

Gagdreek: Maybe there could be something where it doesn't have to be funny but they have to play through a story of some sort.

You're welcome. (Pedant is my middle name.) I think you have a nice idea, but it sounds like a lot of work. Most threads on this site develop into word association games, especially the really long ones.

Could we have a round of 'only using sentences that are questions', as played so excellently by Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles?
Does that first sentence qualify? What about the second one? Am I monopolising the conversation?
Questions only
Wand'rin star Posted Aug 8, 2000
Do you want to monopolise the conversation? Does this worry you? Are any of the rest of us bothered by this tendency of yours?
Questions only
Wand'rin star Posted Aug 8, 2000
Wasn't Cheerful Dragon demurring about her tendency to hog the conversation? Would somebody like to introduce a topic drift?
Questions only

Would you like me to?

Is mise Duncan Posted Aug 8, 2000
Why would topic drift need to be introduced? Isn't it inherrent in the system?

Isn't it what working mothers do after the school run?

Is topic drift allowed in the original from whence we are taking this?
