Something will turn up, some solution, God will provide something.

even if the campaign doesnt work, people are now thinking about it and trying to do something.
its alright everybody sitting down and saying something needs to be done. it dosnt change anything. action is wat is needed and at least this campaign is doing that.

Thats right. The talk by all these governments, the milleniums goal, and all these nice commentas, if there is one time in their political career they must follow the words with action, it is now.
And this campaing in a way has already acheived something, it has made people aware and got them thinking. It can still do much more, but it is a good start.

an idea:
we have too many farmers. what if our farmers could help in Africa to build and educate the local farmers.

Orange A (formerly known as DunlopVolley) Posted Jun 14, 2005
Well, it's an alright idea, but impractical.

if you have think futher...
the European farmers will have a better price for their good, because less over production in Europe and so the European subsidies can be lowered and be used to educated people.
one thing must happen tho not leaving farmer's land should not all be bought by other farmers.

Ah, you've stopped thinking! A mild word of warning, while faith is admirable, there are a lot of intellectual muscle-men on the site who may seem to be attacking it. Mostly they are trying to understand why people think what they think, but it can be harsh.
Take care, DV. Keep passionate, and keep thinking!

Well, I still think it may be impractical, but maybe not so unlikely. I still can't see it happening but. What do others think?

Passion can move mountains on it's own. Linked to thought it can be the most powwerful force in the world.

Well, I've definantely got the passion, and the thinking is coming along all right, but some of the ideas are a bit off.

caring is the first step. The rest will come along.
George Orwell once said something along the lines that any man who had not been a communist at the age of 20 had no heart, and any man who was still a communist at the age of thirty was a fool.
I think he was getting at the same thing.

Tomorrow, June 16, is the Day of Global Call to Action Against Poverty and Africa's Day of the African Child, which will also be Africa's white-band day.
Something else, any children (like myself), or your own children, can do to help is make a friend. It is for all children who can't go to school. The 'friends' will be sent to the G8 leaders on July 5th. This is the message on the website:
Take part in the 'Send my Friend to School' campaign and make an action card showing a friend whom you'd like to send to school. All 'Send my Friend to School' action cards will be presented on Tuesday, July 5th to the leaders of the world's richest and most influential countries, the G8, who are meeting in Scotland, in the UK. We'll be reminding our world leaders of their agreement that all children should go to school.
You can find the site at http://www.sendmyfriend.info/eng/home.aspx .
