What I don't get:
TV reality shows about houses, buying, selling and 'doing up'...
Sport on TV
Telemarketers phoning people at dinner time (and the managers who really think that people so interrupted, will really buy the product!)

His Dark Materials trilogy. I know, everyone raves about it, but I just found it too poo-faced, lacking in hunour, and Lyra intensely annoying.

I dont get when people post just to say that they find a thread boring and are subsequntly *unsubscribing*
Why? That just smacks of self importance, as if everyone wants to read that that person they will no longer be participating.
If a thread becomes objectionable or boring it will die off through lack of posting, and if a thread causes you to take exception to it then post explaining why. Just to post *unsubs* or something equally banal is pointless.
If you don't like, don't comment just dissapear
