Any reason for prefering a laptop over, E.G., a small form factor PC+ external USB2/FW soundcards?
Shouldn't most modern laptops be able to handle multiple VSTs with ease once you've got an External USB2 soundcard taking the strain off the computer processer at some extent?
Why use a keyboard stand when you can balance it even more precariously on to your 4X12 Marshal cabs?
