I don´t think that can happen. Caligraphy is so important for them because if you don´t write-draw the strokes properly your message won´t be clear.
I guess that it is as if I write massage instead of message.

Teasswill

I'm learning Japanese. Just like in English there are words that sound that same but have a different meaning & different picture character. Then there are characters with the same meaning but pronounced differently when combined with other characters.

Ichiban can be first of a list, best out of 3 or more options, or 'most' when used with an adjective or adverb. Perhaps the Chinese 'first' referred to is more like 'original'.

Studying my Kanji dictionary, I find it fascinating seeing how two or more concepts put together make one word. Most of them make sense, but I expect you have to understand the culture & society to appreciate all of them.

When a character is used as part of a compound or as a radical it is often written in a slightly modified form to fit the general shape of the new character. I don't know all the combinations as like Teasswill I am only just learning Japanese and it's possible for all I know that the particular character in question might be modified in that way but I have not been able to confirm that one way or the other. Thats all.
