Anyone else faintly dissapointed by GTA:IV?

I mean it is a "great" game. I it. It has wonderful touches.
But, dammit, it just was not as much fun as San Andreas. That game was just so much, well fun, and so varied that GTA: IV felt kinda limited in comparison.
Perhaps there come times when you have been sooo good that anything you reales thereafter will always be faintly dissapointing, I doubt Radiohead will ever release an album that touches "Ok Computer" but well I had hoped to be blown away by GTA: IV but I wasn't.
In fact both "Oblivion" and "The Twilight Princess" have for me been beter 7th Gen console games.
Just waiting for "Fallout 3" and "Fable 2" now I suppose....

Reserving judgement till I finish it - which could be a while. Xbox is broken...
Although this is the first GTA I've played since the move to 3D.

Ahhh....
So you didn't play San Andreas then?
I should say that when you get Xboxed up like a kipper again that you check it out. Whilst the graphics are a tad ropey compared to what we are used to San Andreas is a tour de force of a game.

I'm sure there'll be a cheap copy of it knocking about somewhere.
