It continues to mystify me why theists and their apologists make such a fuss about reason, rationality, logic and intelligence, being used to cast huge doubts on woo-woo that's been used for thousands of years to oppress huge numbers of people who believe in a different woo-woo, not to mention those who have never really gone along with woo-woo.

Now we live in a society where the vast majority of people have the benefit of education and access to learning about the way of thinking that is *not* based on superstition, the whining is deafening. And we're even claiming 100% certainty as so many woo-wooists do.

And only yesterday on a thread I spoke to SWL on he said, and I quote, 'The real bigots around here are the Atheists.'

I've previously posted links to detailed research about NDEs and theories about them, but no one could be ar*ed reading the articles, just jumping to conclusions from the first paragraph and using the conclusions they jumped to, to call me stupid (sigh, I have got so used to that!)!

That someone can only be called a believer if they believe in woo-woo stuff.

To be fair to Alfster and Fanny they have had to put with people whose attempt at argument amounts to sticking their fingers in their ears and ignoring the points they make.

so blinky it can only be silly if the facts are there you cant call someome who belives in the afterlife a liar or silly if you cant prove the is one . Why do people go to church becouse they belive in god . Now effers your woo woo stuff as you put it people thought it was woo woo that man could not make a flying machine (the plane) but they did and that proved there point . call it silly, woo woo, mad , etc but there are loads of things happen and we cant get to the bottom of mircles do happen that cant be explained .
