I had a quesadilla with moldy cheddar jack for my dinner... am now nibbling some blue corn tortilla chips and mango-pineapple-cilantro salsa I made. Mmmmmm!! The rest of the salsa will hopefully go over a tilapia filet on the weekend provided I'm not too tired. Thinking of a Chinese food/ Lord of the Rings DVD fest Saturday night after work.

Off to refill my wine glass then head off to bed...

I am eating a apple at the moment for the sight of food is making me nauseas, for i have got the flu which is making me really depressed.

Hello, Barbara - I am in NZ, and for my lunch, I had a chicken and avocado sandwich. My appetite has just returned after going AWOL some time in January.

Well at the moment it i am munching on a nougat bar, and trying to type with one hand.

I am nibbling Mint Aero chocolate, so much nicer than the plain. We are just entering aytumn, and I have no appetite in summer... but I will get my appetite back in winter - then watch out, I shall balloon!

At the moment, I am doing my best to not eat anything -- root canal yesterday, and the tooth in question is at that stage of not-quite-hurting-but-itchy (which I have always been told means it's healing).

I want something CRUNCHY -- however I dislike pain for the most part!
Someone munch something yummy for me!!

Yes, my mother always said itching meant something was healing.. Try Rice Bubbles, SpaceCadette, if they are really fresh!

Delia, what are Rice Bubbles? Are they sort of like Rice Krispies (puffed rice cereal thingys)? That sounds crunchy and not very hard to chew -- also yummy!

Alas, don't think I've got any; might just have to have some cottage cheese instead, with fruit. NOT crunchy, but good (ish)!
